Join AKC Rally® Novice Class

The AKC Rally® Novice class is the perfect introduction to the world of dog sports, blending basic obedience with a fun and interactive team experience. Designed for beginners, this entry-level class focuses on building communication and teamwork between you and your dog.

During the Rally Novice class, you'll guide your dog through a course made up of 10–15 stations, each featuring a sign that provides a simple obedience task such as sit, down, turn, or heel. You and your dog work together at a brisk pace, completing each station with enthusiasm and precision.

This class is performed on-leash and is open to dogs that are at least 6 months old. No prior competition experience is required—just a willingness to learn and have fun!
